Paper Submission



ICDEM 2010 Camera Ready Copy (CRC) Submission Guidelines

Microsoft CMT will accept doc. docx, pdf, jpg, and gif file formats. You can submit a maximum of 5 files during camera ready version. If you need any other file format or any help, please send us email to icdem2010@gmail.com. The final camera-ready version of your paper containing

  • all source files (LaTeX file(s) or MS Word document, images, etc.),
  • the corresponding PDF file and
  • a signed copyright form (a scanned version is acceptable, Note that in the copyright form, fill-up "Conference" as "ICDEM 2010" and "Volume Editor(s)" as "Frederic Andres, Rajkumar Kannan")

has to be submitted ONLY using the Microsoft CMT System no later than June 27, 2010.
At least one author of each contributed paper MUST register for the conference. Please note, that according to the Springer instructions:

  • all the title and authors' names in the headers of your paper are written as they are to appear in the final Table of Contents and Author Index (the final Table of Contents and the final Author Index are generated from the headers).


  • Please also check the quality of the figures included in the ZIP file with the final camera-ready version. Make sure that the figures are not of a low resolution and are suitable for printing in black and white.


  • Kindly take also in mind, that Springer makes your email addresses as given on your papers to appear in the metadata of the online version of the book.

All types of submissions (full and short) have to follow the Lecture Notes in Computer Science format (see the Authors Instructions at (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-7-72376-0)). Accepted paper formats are PDF, PS or DOC (note that in case of camera ready PDF or PS created by LaTeX source files and images should be also included).

The target paper size is:

  • 8 pages for full papers and workshop papers
  • 4 pages for short papers

ICDEM 2010 Paper Submission

All submissions in PDF must be prepared in Springer LNCS style (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-7-72376-0), failing which the paper will not be considered for review. Research and industrial paper submissions are limited to 7 pages. A paper submitted to ICDEM 2010 cannot be under review for any other conference or journal during the entire time it is considered for ICDEM2010, and it must be substantially different from any previously published papers. Submissions are reviewed in a double-blind manner. Papers will be selected by the program chairs based on the input from all reviewers and ICDEM's acceptance policy. The Program Chairs' decisions are final.

Submit online your papers in PDF at https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/ICDEM2010/ All accepted papers will appear in the post conference proceedings published by Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), Springer Verlag-Germany. The best papers from the presented papers will be selected for extended versions to be published in selected journals as special issues from Inderscience.
